MUMBAI: The BCCI-led 

IPL released the schedule for the 2021 Indian Premier League edition. which is been played in India on Sunday. 

Stadium locations : Chennai, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Ahmedabad and Kolkata- will play the 60 matches of the tournament and  Ahmedabad hosting this season  for  3 play-offs and the biggest final this year. The tournament will be commenced  on 9 April and  end on 30 May.



Venues

Variation of venues and matches to be played is also different ." There will be 56 league games,Bengaluru, Mumbai,Chennai, Kolkata will host  ten matches . while Delhi and Ahmedabad will host eight matches,” a BCCI statement said.

In this season, there will limited number of stadium. the BCCI has planned to do away with home and away arrangement.

“There will be a total of 11 double headers where six teams will play three afternoon matches and two teams will play two afternoon matches. The afternoon games are slated for a 3:30 PM IST start while the evening games will have a 7:30 PM IST start.”
